# Auto mode

A new conversation chooses the depth of its answers from the first question: deeper for an investigation, faster for the rest. You can change it for that conversation.

A new conversation now chooses the level of its answers from the first question: deeper for an investigation, faster for everything else, and it stays at that level for the rest of the thread. You can change it for that conversation whenever you want.

**Who it is for:** everyone. The three levels are still there; you no longer have to pick one before you know what the question needs.

**Where:** every new conversation, in the composer.
