# Lock It Down with 2FA

Add an extra layer of security for your account. We’ve added support for Two-Factor Authentication to make logins more secure and keep your account safe.

## ‍What’s new

Trackingplan now supports **Two-Factor Authentication** (2FA), allowing users to secure their accounts with a one-time email verification code or an authenticator app of their choice.

While 2FA is disabled by default, each user can enable it individually from their **Settings** under ** User Account**.

Setup is optional and can be enabled per user.
