Ask for the cause of a warning

You can now ask the agent to attribute a warning to a tag manager change or to the site code. If it needs to, and you allow it, it opens the affected page in a real browser.

Released September 1, 2026 · 1 min read

You can now ask the agent to attribute a warning to one of two causes: a change in the tag manager, or a change in the code of the site.

It starts from the saved GTM container versions and the hits around the moment the warning appeared. If that is not enough, and you authorise it, it opens the affected page in a real browser and shows you the analytics requests it sees there.

Who it is for: anyone who has lost an afternoon deciding whether the dashboard dropped because of a release or because of a tag.

Where: on any warning, from the conversation. The browser only runs when you allow it; see Limit the agent's browser to your plan's domains.
