Google Tag Manager containers, saved from your traffic

Trackingplan now keeps every published version of your GTM container, read from the traffic of your site. The agent reads tags, triggers, variables and what changed in each release.

Released August 31, 2026 · 1 min read

Trackingplan now saves the published versions of your Google Tag Manager container, continuously, from the traffic of your site itself. No GTM access to grant, no export to upload.

The agent can read the tags, the triggers, the variables and what changed in each publication, and use that when it explains a warning or answers a question about a release.

Who it is for: teams whose tracking lives in GTM and who want "what changed in release v92?" to be a question, not an archaeology session.

Where: the container appears under your plan once the first hits of a published version arrive. The agent uses it on its own; see also Ask for the cause of a warning.
