Break Down Event Traffic with Tags

December 21, 2023

We're thrilled to announce that we have expanded the capabilities of Trackingplan’s Tags!

What's New with Tags?

Now tags also allow you to break down event traffic by country, or any other values that you have previously tagged (release version, build number, app version, test name, etc.).

With this update, tags now offer more versatility in breaking down event traffic by various attributes, such as country, release version, build number, app version, test name, and more. This expanded functionality empowers you to analyze event traffic with greater granularity and precision.

Streamlined Analysis

  • Filter Warnings by Tags: Quickly identify where warnings are occurring, which warnings have appeared after specific releases, or if any warnings are associated with specific tests. Tags enable you to distinguish warnings by their custom tag value. That way, you will be able to filter your warnings by their release version, their build number, the app version in which they appeared, or their Test Name in staging or preproduction environments to quickly check if your warnings are happening only in a specific test version or in several of them.

Efficient Debugging

  • Debug Warnings with Tags: Tags enable you to debug and perform root-cause analysis on warnings more effectively. By correlating specific warnings with tags, you can gain a clearer understanding of the factors influencing their appearance.
