Released December 19, 2025 · 1 min read

To make things easier, Trackingplan now includes a set of preconfigured rules that you can easily activate or deactivate based on your preferences. These preset rules, covering common patterns like kebab-case, camelCase, snake_case, and more, give you a simple, out-of-the-box way to quickly validate whether your events, campaigns, or other tracking elements follow your established naming convention standards without needing to create custom rules from scratch.

A simple way to quickly validate whether your event, parameter, or campaign naming follows your standards!

These rules are thoughtfully designed to address the most common use cases and align with best practices recommended by major providers, such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4). However, if you’re missing a specific common naming convention or pattern, feel free to reach out to our support team.
