Trackingplan suggests spec edits when it finds a problem

While it investigates a warning, an event, a destination or the checkout, Trackingplan can suggest a change to the spec, and makes it only when you ask.

Released October 28, 2026 · 1 min read

When you look into a warning, an event, a property, a destination, a tracking audit, a root-cause question or the cart through checkout, Trackingplan can now suggest a change to the tracking spec. It makes the change only when you ask for it.

After you save a property edit, a suggestion checks the new hits once, about an hour later.

Who it is for: anyone who investigates a warning and wants to close it in the same conversation.

Where: any chat in the panel. More on investigating: Investigate a Warning.
