When a Server-Side Google Tag Manager container forwards a conversion to another destination (Meta, TikTok, Bing, Snapchat, Pinterest, Adform, LinkedIn or Roivenue), Trackingplan now reads the Google Consent Mode state the container copied from the browser event.
- Those destinations appear on the Consent page, with their consent rate.
- The Data Explorer drilldown behind a Consent row shows the same rate.
- On a hit, the source is labeled Google Consent Mode (Server Side GTM).
Google destinations keep their existing rate. Cookies, domains and pixels are unchanged, and days before October 30 have no rows for these server-side destinations.
Who it is for: privacy and marketing teams that send conversions server-side and need to know they respect consent.
Where: Compliance > Consent. More: Consent.
