Daily drop and spike warnings now use the anomaly model

Daily drop and spike warnings are now computed with the daily-volume anomaly model. Since September 29 the event's traffic tab draws the expected volume and the drop and spike levels.

Released September 28, 2026 · 1 min read

Daily drop and spike warnings are now computed with the anomaly model of the daily volume: the expected volume for that day of the week, and how far the real volume strayed from it.

Update, September 29: the traffic tab of an event draws the expected volume and the drop and spike levels, so you see why a day raised a warning and why another did not.

Who it is for: anyone who was tired of a Monday warning on a Sunday volume.

Where: the warnings of every event, and its traffic tab. Docs: Warnings and updates.
