Trackingplan is installed in minutes, doesn’t require technical skills to set up or use, and will start listening in real-time to all the data your sites and apps are sending to your third-party services right after its installation. That makes us the only solution that delivers value from day one across product, business, and marketing people. Let’s see all the options you have to install Trackingplan depending on your needs:
1. Install Trackingplan on your websites:
Google Tag Manager: If you use a Tag Manager, you can install Trackingplan without accessing your site's code. Simply login to Google Tag Manager and create a new tag inside the container connected to your website. In the Tag Configuration box, select Custom HTML Tag when choosing the tag type, and paste your Trackingplan snippet into the HTML text box. After that, you’ll just need to click on Advanced Settings and set Tag firing Priority to 1000 and Tag Firing Options to Once per page to ensure Trackingplan can see events that trigger once the page has loaded. For the best results, select All Pages while navigating to the Triggering box. All done! Easy, huh? For more details, click here.
Add the Snippet to your site code: For it, you’ll just need to retrieve your Trackingplan’s snippet and paste it into the top of the <head> section of all your web pages, before any tracking code. As easy as that! Learn more about it here.
2. Install Trackingplan as a CDP Destination:
Segment Destination: If you're using Segment, you can create a new Webhook destination and use the Trackingplan Segment Webhook URL as the Webhook URL. If you don’t have your Trackingplan Segment Webhook URL, please ask Trackingplan support and we will guide you throughout the whole process.
Amplitude Destination: For it, you’ll need to create a new Webhook Destination in your Amplitude Data account and add your Trackingplan Endpoint as the URL. If you don’t have your Trackingplan Webhook URL for Amplitude, please ask Trackingplan support and we will inform you about all the details.
3. Install Trackingplan in your Apps:
