Post-Install Essentials: A Guide to Next Steps
To show you what happens after the install, Trackingplan labels the specs of your properties with three states. They tell you which specs are being enforced and where each type and presence spec comes from.
1. Warm-Up Phase
During the warm-up, Trackingplan watches how the traffic of your events behaves and analyzes the specs of each of your properties.
It is a learning phase. Trackingplan collects what it needs to understand what each piece of data means, find patterns and spot anomalies.
During this phase, Trackingplan raises no traffic warnings, so you don't get false alarms while it learns your data and traffic patterns.
Some warnings don't need to wait, though. Trackingplan also checks the event and property specs your analytics and marketing tools recommend, and raises Recommended Specs Warnings when your sites or apps don't meet them. These warnings don't rely on a learning phase, so you can get them during the warm-up.

2. Learnt by Trackingplan
After the warm-up, Trackingplan works out the data type and presence it expects for each of your properties, based on what it has seen.
3. Set by User: Getting into Action
Now it is your turn. Adjust the type and presence constraints Trackingplan inferred as often as you need: click the dropdown and pick the constraint that fits your requirements.
Your team sees who made each change and when, so it is easy to work together and undo a change if needed.
4. Set by Trackingplan’s Support Team
You can also see when Trackingplan’s Support Team has stepped in to help with a complex configuration or some fine-tuning, so your tracking fits your needs.
You can also see who edited your specs while you explore your warnings, in the Warning Management View. It keeps you on top of changes and your team in sync at a glance.
