Trackingplan’s Connector for Looker Studio allows you to instantly monitor the data quality of all your plans directly from Google's BI tool. It brings the insights you already receive in Trackingplan’s daily digest into an interactive dashboard — making it easier to identify issues, prioritize fixes, and share updates across your team.

Since it’s a native connector built by Trackingplan, you can use the data however you like, meaning that the dashboard we provide is just one example of what you can make.

At a glance, the example report we’re sharing has two main sections. Yet, you can also switch between plans to explore your events however you want:

Per-plan view: Analyze each plan’s tracking health individually.
Global view: Compare data quality across all your plans at a glance.

Metrics Included

Each plan’s section displays:

Total number of events
Events with warnings
Starred events (the ones you’ve marked as important in Trackingplan’s Dashboard) with issues
Unique properties or parameters detected by Trackingplan

Based on these variables, the connector calculates a Data Quality Score from 0 to 100. Scores above 90 typically indicate that everything is in good shape.

However, you can also:

Break down metrics by provider (e.g., GA4, Segment, etc.)
Track how the Data Quality Score evolves (last 30 days by default)
Explore historical charts of issues by event, by starred event, and by property

Global Overview for Agencies and Multi-Brand Teams

If you manage multiple plans—like different websites, apps, or clients—you’ll also benefit from the Global View, which consolidates all data and scores by plan. This lets you quickly identify which projects need attention, without jumping between dashboards.

How to Use It

Make a copy of the Trackingplan Looker Studio report.
When prompted, authorize the Trackingplan community connector.
Log in to your Trackingplan account to connect your plans.
Once connected, the report will display your own live data.
Click “Allow” to enable Community Visualizations and unlock all charts.

That's it! You’re now ready to explore, customize, and share your Trackingplan data within Looker Studio.
